Christian Meditation and prayer three times a term Come and explore silent prayer, how to find stillness, meditating on the Bible, and how to meditate on the ups and downs of daily life. There is a long tradition of Christian meditation that starts with Jesus’ time spent alone in the desert. Each one hour session will help us be silent and still before God. Silent prayer is based on learning to trust that God does love and accept us just as we really are amidst all the ups and downs of daily life. Dates for the spring term will be published soon.

Study Course A day time Lent study course runs from 11.00 am – 12 noon at St James, on Wednesdays from 13 March to 10 April. An evening Kensington Council of Churches Lent course runs from 7.30 – 8.30 pm at different churches, on Thursdays from 14 March to 11 April. The first session is at St James’s, followed by St Sarkis's Armenian Church, St Mark’s Coptic Church, The Carmelite Priory, and St John’s Notting Hill. Further information will be published soon.
