    Alan Everett

    Vicar

Alan enjoys reading and film, and he paints. An exhibition of his paintings was shown at St Stephen Walbrook in 2016. Before moving to the parish in November 2010, he was a vicar in South Hackney for nearly 17 years. In After the Fire: Finding Words for Grenfell he describes the emergency and pastoral response at St Clement's, and considers the implications for parish ministry. In September 2017, The Guardian published his poem about the fire. He will leave the parish for All Saints West Dulwich at the end of the April: his final service will be at 10.30 am on Sunday 28 April, at St Clement's church. His 'collation and induction' at All Saints will be at 8.00 pm on 8 July 2019. All are very welcome to attend.
