Christian Unity Service and other ecumenical events 

Kensington Council for Churches is happy to confirm details of the 2019 Unity Service, which will be hosted by St Philips, Earls Court Road, courtesy of the Vicar, the Revd Philippa Turner.  We much look forward to representatives of Churches Together in Notting Hill (CTiNH) joining us at this annual service during the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.  
Date:    Tuesday, 22 January, 2019
Time:    7.15pm - Service followed by refreshments
Place:   St Philip's Church, Earls Court Road, W8 6QH.  The church with the clock - Junct. of Stratford Rd/Earls Court Rd

We are honoured that His Eminence Archbishop Angaelos, the first Coptic Archbishop of London, Orthodox President of Churches Together in England (CTE), and Moderator of Churches Together in Britain & Ireland (CTBI) has kindly accepted an invitation to join our local churches, and to give the address.  
The Ecumenical Worship Service will be based on materials provided by CTBI, put together this year by the Churches in Indonesia, the theme for which 'Only Justice' is based around Deuteronomy 16:18-2, "Justice and only justice, you shall pursue..."

Sr Anne Lee writes ‘...Jonathan Gorsky will give A Jewish Response to two New Saints - on Weds, 9th Jan we will focus on St Paul VI and on Weds, 16th Jan, we will focus on St Oscar Romero.  Each of the days will run from 11.00 until 3.15 (Tea / Coffee from 10.30).  Please bring a Packed Lunch.  Suggested Donation : £15 each day.’
